Wood covering is skillfully machined and sanded smooth prior to shipment. All wood coatings and finishes applied in field by others. We can supply Cedar, Teak, Trex® Walnut, Mahogany, Hickory, Birch, Ash, Douglas fir, Brazilian Cherry, White Oak, Cherry, Maple and other fine hardwoods.
          Note: Standard Wood is ¾” Eastern Red Oak

3/16” Plain steel plate formed down on front and back of each tread and platform. The underside features a tapered steel channel support beam with plywood inserts flush with the flanges.
        Carpet wraps around steel plate and tucks in on each side of tapered beam. For best results install carpet with neoprene cement. Solid birch trim extends 3/8” around steel end plate and provides a new appearance.
          Note: Different wood trims can be chosen.

            Treads and platforms made from 3/16” steel checker plate.
            Treads and platforms can be flanged up to provide maximum headroom clearance.
            Rubber covered treads will be made with 3/16” plain steel plate and furnished with ¼” marbleized molded rubber covering. Rubber cemented to treads and platforms by installer.
